The Arelian Language

Back to Home

Okay, to understand the Arelian Language, you must first know English. Using the pronunciation key below, exchange each English letter in the word you are trying to say with the sound next to it. There are no double letters in Arelian, so in words like hello or goodbye, the l's and the o's are just one. Therefore, hello is hihaor and goodbye is ouorthyai. The underline under the d th means that it is hard like in the word feather whereas the b th is soft like in thin. When d and b are together, the b becomes silent, being the weaker sound. Get it?

To spell Arelian using English characters just insert the sound written above. That, my friends, is about as complicated as it gets.
